Today marks an important milestone for SSENKIMA ASHIRAF. Our S.4 learners are sitting the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) exams and our S.6 learners are taking the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) exams. These examinations are the culmination of years of hard work, and they open the door to further study and future opportunities.
For our learners, this is a moment to show the knowledge and skills they have built with the support of teachers, parents and the wider community. It is a chance to demonstrate perseverance, focus and confidence. The effort you have put into lessons, homework and revision is now ready to shine.
Advice for Learners and Parents
Read each question carefully. Take a moment to understand what is being asked before you begin your answer. Manage your time wisely – allocate enough minutes to each paper and leave a few minutes at the end to review your work. Trust the preparation you have done; you know more than you think.
Parents and guardians, your role remains vital during these days. Encourage your child to rest well, eat nutritious meals and stay hydrated. A calm mind works best, so create a quiet space for study and limit distractions. A short walk or gentle stretch can help relieve tension before the exam starts.
Teachers are proud of every student who has attended classes, participated in discussions and completed assignments. We have seen growth in critical thinking, problem‑solving and communication. Your teachers will continue to be available for any last‑minute clarification, and they send their heartfelt thanks for the support you have given at home.
To the whole SSENKIMA ASHIRAF community – families, neighbours and alumni – thank you for the encouragement you have shown. Your kind words and confidence boost the morale of our learners. Let us all keep a positive attitude and celebrate the effort, regardless of the outcome.
Remember, examinations are a step, not the final destination. Whether you achieve your target grades or learn from the experience, you are moving forward. Keep believing in yourself and keep the spirit of learning alive.
